Feline grateful

I’m writing to express my thanks for the amazing help I was given last Tuesday morning by various people who live in the vicinity of Carvel Way, Littlehampton.

My beloved cat, Quinn, went missing, and I spent the best part of the early morning walking the block, calling him and becoming more and more upset when he failed to materialise.

I am so glad to say that every person who saw me searching for him was so kind and helpful, searching under their cars and taking a description to try and help me find him.

In particular, I’d like to thank the chap who lives in the Davits Drive area, who, having heard my story whilst out walking his dog, later saw a cat who he thought was Quinn and came back especially to tell me that he thought he’d spotted him.

I am pleased to report that, as is the way with cats, Quinn came back safe and sound, with no indication of where he had been or the trouble he had caused!

But the thoughtfulness of my neighbours was so much appreciated – I wanted to write and say ‘thank you’ to them all.”
