Forest pupils will be on hand to help course members as they ‘cook’ their way to learning new skills. Previous Misterchef course attendee John said “It is a great experience. I learnt how to prepare and cook meals and am now much more confident to cook at home. It was also a fun, sociable experience that I didn’t expect at the beginning. I would recommend anyone thinking about it to sign up and have a go.”

Misterchef is a 4-week basic cooking course for older gentleman. It is great fun and suitable for those who have not cooked before or those that know a little but would like to learn more. “We cook 2 or 3 dishes per evening that the gentlemen can take home to enjoy. All delegates receive a course book that gives them handy information on healthy eating as well as all the recipes they have cooked during the course. It’s also a great social occasion” said Laura Ward, Community and Enrichment Programme Manager at Forest.
