It might pay to heed granny's wise words

REFERRING to the present financial and economic times we live in, my poor old granny, who passed away many years ago, must have been a very astute woman.

When she died and the house was cleared, 50 was found beneath the mattress of the bed she slept in, her only worldly wealth.

I can remember that she always said she didn't trust banks and, with the current monetary crises, she must have known something we didn't know.
