It's time they curbed these bright ideas

HAS anyone any ideas why it has been deemed necessary to spend several thousand pounds on putting kerb stones on the left hand side of Toddington Lane as you go up to the corner before the level crossing?

The actual corner always was dangerous, as it is a 90-degree blind bend and needed to be taken carefully, but the effect of these kerb stones means that the road width on the bend has been reduced by at least a foot, and is now an accident waiting to happen.

Perhaps the person who dreamt this one up should inspect the result of their bright ideas.

Incidentally, at the time of writing there are temporary traffic lights in operation protecting three traffic cones.
