LETTER: Thanks for help after puncture
On Sunday afternoon, May 19, one of the rear tyres of our blue Nissan Micra was punctured by a pothole near Cowfold while we were en route to see friends in Hove.
Through your columns, may we thank the fellow who so kindly came to our assistance and without further ado replaced the punctured tyre with a spare. Having given his unstinting help, he refused any form of payment.
In short this ‘Good Samaritan’ regained our faith in human nature.
