Looking for former girls’ school pupils

MY name is Maureen Measures (nee Sargent) and I went to Bexhill Down County Secondary School for girls from 1952-1958 and was in the Commercial and Selective section.

One of our classmates is coming home to the UK from New Zealand in June of this year and I am trying to find old school friends as I am planning a reunion get-together when she gets here.

Several of our class came into school by train/bus from Mountfield, Robertsbridge, Battle and outlying areas and these are some of the friends that I am trying to find.

Amongst them: Pamela Stapley, Pamela Brett, Kathleen Williams and Rosemary Fuller.

There are others too but I really can’t remember where they actually lived now as it is so long ago.

Through your newspaper I wondered if you could help me to find the above ladies and anyone else who remembers us and were in our class please?
