Nuclear waste

DURING this time of nucelar emergency it is not surprising that our attention is centred upon the world's nuclear industry. However, it must be emphasised that the power produced by the nuclear industry is produced by nuclear fission. The stars, our sun, produce light and heat by nuclear fusion. When our industry can produce light and heat by fusion on an industrial scale, the problem of fuel is solved. Light and heat without nuclear waste. Research into nuclear fusion does take place, the goal is elusive, but it will be achieved - it must be!
