Pleased on cardboard
I WAS so pleased to read in last week's Observer (Friday January 7) that Rother will now be collecting cardboard for recycling. This service has been needed for a long time and being able to add it to the garden waste is so simple. This must surely reduce waste to landfill by a significant amount.
I should also like to endorse the letter from David Evans in the same issue in regard to our refuse collection. After hearing how badly some authorities have performed surely Rother must come out tops! Thank you Rother and indeed Verdant.
