Praise for Picnic in the Park
Through the Gazette I would like to thank everyone involved in the Picnic in the Park event on Saturday, May 18, on Caffyn's Field.
The music was excellent and the Littlehampton Concert Band played to its usual very high standard. I always enjoy listening to the TLA Steel Band and the samba band had so much energy that, although it was a cold evening, their jumping around kept us all warm.
We at HOMElink are very grateful for the generosity of the people who attended this event – over £500 was raised for this organisation. And I would like to say a special thank-you to Tyndall Jones, who went around with his bucket, collecting from the audience.
