Pupils from Arunsidesupport heart charity
We learnt how the charity helps children and adults whose hearts are damaged, what research projects they are involved in and how they promote healthy hearts.
As part of our PSHE curriculum we have ensured that we understand how to keep our own hearts healthy by eating healthy food and taking regular exercise.

Hide AdEverybody wore something red to join the British Heart Foundation Wear It, Beat It campaign.
The children enjoyed a free ‘red’ breakfast at the start of the day to promote good health courtesy of the YMCA.
Mrs. Slight, Headteacher, said, “Many families have heart disease touch them and this campaign for the British Heart Foundation enabled us all to do something to help.
“By making activities fun and interesting the children were able to understand what we were doing and why.”
