Sandcastle superheroes

THROUGH your newspaper, I would just like to say a big thank-you to all those involved in making the sandcastle competition a great event enjoyed by many visitors and residents alike (Gazette, August 20).

It was true community spirit that brought the event together, from the prizes from Aarty Party, East Beach Caf and the carnival association, to Spirit FM's support in promoting the event.

Well done to all participants and thank you to Hampton the Hedgehog for entertaining the crowds.
