I don’t live in the immediate vicinity but I can see the car parking horrors in Seabourne Road that the work is causing.

It is dangerous with vehicles having to use the wrong side of the road for a good 100m and this with a slight downhill curve preventing you from seeing the start.

This email isn’t about that, trucks of all sizes are not just using Pebsham Lane but Haslem Crescent, I presume because it’s easier to enter the site from Seabourne Road than making a sharp left from Pebsham Lane.

On one occasion a large lorry stopped just before the Haslem/Seabourne junction, the driver got out, walked to the non driver’s side (pavement) and urinated against his wheel.

I’d also like to say that all the grass verges in the vicinity are being chewed up by vehicles having to drive on them. The roads in the area are not suitable for the amount of heavy traffic that this work has generated and access to the site should not have been allowed from Pebsham Lane.
