Worries over wildlife
Broad Oak Country Park was given the town. I telephoned the police some time ago and was told shooting rabbits in the park was not allowed.
On Saturday evening (August 20), I counted 16 shots. I telephoned Bexhill Police to be told there could be people out shooting but he would check notes.

This is wrong as foxes eat rabbits - nature feeds on one another. We are building so many flats and taking away where the wildlife live so they can mate in the parks and gardens.
While I am on the subjects of Broad Oak Country Park, 20 years ago bird boxes were put up but now there are no longer any.
The were worn out and not replaced but the public can donate bird boxes to the park for tits, bats other birds and owls.

People are taking out hedges and having wooden fences like they have in Broad Oak Lane (west end).
This is no good for wildlife to make homes in, it’s like you and I having our home taken away and turned out with nowhere to go.
