Take concerns seriously

Most of us pay to have fresh water delivered to our homes by one company and sewage and waste water taken away by another, what we don't expect to happen is for the waste to be taken away and pumped into the river Lavant that runs through the centre of our Roman city.

Perhaps now Chichester District Council will take seriously the concerns of parish councils over extra housing in the area and the lack of adequate sewage capacity?

They say the test of the civilisation of a nation is how it looks after its vulnerable minorities – maybe a more accurate test should be how a society deals with (for want of a printable version) its manure?
