Twitter about town litter

I keep being told that social media is so important; that it is the future in terms of customer relations, and confidence.

So it is with some concern that I have to report that I rarely, if ever, get a response from Hastings Borough Council communications department when I am raising casework issues for residents of Castle Ward by Twitter, which I do on a regular basis.

The most recent disappointment, has been the lack of response about the state of Devonshire Road.

This town centre road is, as one resident has described it, a ‘main thoroughfare’ into the town, and one that is often in disarray, to the general detriment of the town’s reputation.

So please tweet back HBC, and tell us what you are doing about it?
