Party to mark Older People’s Day

RESIDENTS of Five Villages housing complex at Icklesham enjoyed a special party last week to celebrate Older People’s Day.

It was an event where the whole community joined in, including eight pupils from the village primary school.

More than 50 guests enjoyed party food, music and singing.

Jane Dann, from Five Villages, said: “It was a really successful afternoon and we are now planning on making it an annual event.”
