Just a reminder that there is no 10am service at Peasmarsh this Sunday July 14. The weekly morning service will be at Beckley, with an unusual Family Pet Service” This is all part of the parish of Beckley and Peasmarsh and an event intended as much for Peasmarsh families and their pets as it is for Beckley, so why not go along and see what it’s all about?

A final reminder that Peasmarsh Flying Start Pre-School is holding a Save a Life event tomorrow (Saturday July 13) 9am - 12 noon at Peasmarsh Primary School’s field. Did you know that 450 people drown in the UK every year? Half of children aged between seven and 11 can’t swim a length unaided! The Pre-School’s Save a Life Event will have stands and demonstrations from the fire brigade, police, RNLI and ASA plus a bouncy castle, face painting, raffle, tombola and refreshments! Entry is free, go along and meet the emergency services and learn how to keep your children safe.

As I expect you have all seen in the Peasmarsh Periodical we will soon be getting a second dog waste bin in Peasmarsh. Absolutely no excuses people!

Peasmarsh Bowls Club news from Joyce: On Sunday July 7 the Final Fling was held at Peasmarsh Bowls Club. We had a good day and everyone enjoyed the games. The results will be in the local paper this weekend.
