Pebsham blacked out by power cut

ELECTRICITY supplier EDF Energy apologised today for a power cut which blacked out 1,400 homes in East Bexhill last night.

The 10pm cut affected homes from De La Warr Road into the southern part of Pebsham.

An EDF spokesman said the problem was caused by a fault in an underground cable.
