Pebsham play project plans to be unveiled

ON Saturday, children and parents at Pebsham will be able to view finalised proposals for revitalising the Seabourne Road recreation ground.

During the summer young people in Pebsham have been encouraged to comment on proposals to improve the recreation ground.

Rother council asked 10 to 16 year olds whether equipment such as a zip wire or activity net would make the recreation ground a better place for young people to spend their free time.

An on-line survey was launched at www.rother.gov.uk/pebsham for young people to look at examples of equipment and to have their say on what should be provided.

An open event aimed at young people was held at the Pebsham Community Centre last month.

Rother is working with Pebsham Community Association, parents and children to put together the plans to revitalise the play area.

Residents will be able to view the finalised proposals at Pebsham Community Centre on Saturday from 12pm to 3pm.
