Firgrove Nursing Home fundraise for Save the Children

Relatives, residents and staff donned their most festive jumpers and took part in a Christmas raffle.

A spokesman for Firgrove said: "The mood was jolly as Christmas classics and laughter filled the air.

"The Christmas spirit was high and we are elated that we have been able to support those in need this Christmas.

The Jumper Day was a successful event and we raised just over £160 for charity.

"We hope to continue our work with the community in the next year to come and we are open to working with more charities and organisations.

"Our festive activities continue as we countdown to Christmas, we have an exciting carol service and Christmas party planned."
