Lindfield community group to screen climate film by award winning director

Fairer World Lindfield, a group which aims to raise awareness and encourage personal and collective action with regard to our ecological crisis, will screen the documentary 2040 on Saturday, March 14.

In the film, award winning director Damon Gameau embarks on a journey to explore what the future could look like by the year 2040 if we embraced the best solutions already available to improve our planet.

Structured as a visual letter to his four year old daughter, Damon blends traditional documentary with dramatised sequences and visual effects to create a vision of how these solutions could regenerate the world for future generations.

The screening will be held at 7pm at King Edward Hall, Lindfield. This is a free event however it is essential to book by emailing [email protected].
