One of the projects is an exciting online activity for children.

This morning (Thursday, April 8), tomorrow morning and every morning from Monday, April 12 to Friday, April 16, videos on how to make puppets and a puppet theatre will be on the Mid Sussex District Council Facebook page.

The ‘Wish Work Puppets’, who entertained children last summer, will also have a puppet show on the Friday.

All of the videos can also be found on the Mid Sussex District Council YouTube, ‘Mid Sussex District Council’ under the ‘Play Days At Home’ playlist.

Also, if you are out and about on your daily Covid-19 exercise with the family, the council are encouraging people to look out for the #MSDCspringintoaction exercise trail around St John’s Park in Burgess Hill, Victoria Park in Haywards Heath and Mount Noddy in East Grinstead.

A spokesman for the council said: “If you tried this out in the February half term you will notice that the activities are different.

“Have a go and send us your photos and comments to: [email protected]

“Please follow government coronavirus guidelines when planning visits to parks and open spaces.

“You can see full guidance here.

“Have fun and enjoy Mid Sussex open spaces safely.”
