Don’t forget the Pett Level Preservation Trust Treasure Hunt on Sunday May 26. Meeting at the finger post at the turning into Toot Rock off Sea Road at 11am, enjoy some family fun at just £5 per question sheet.

Church Services on Sunday May 26 - Holy Communion – Richard Barron, St Mary & St Peter, Pett at 9:45am. There will be a Sunday Service at the Methodist Chapel at 10:45am.

POPP on Tuesday May 28 will arrange their own entertainment .The session runs from 10:30am to 2:30pm and will include a two-course lunch for just £5.

The Mobile Library will be in Pett and Pett Level on Wednesday May 29. It will start at the Church at 10.10am, moving on to Chick Hill at 10:50am and finishing at The Smuggler at 11.20am.

There are still a few tickets left for the Coronation Lunch on June 2. There will be a Feast of Puddings and a glass of bubbly as well as live music. And children under 14 go free! Tickets are available at Pett Post Office and Phil the Butcher.

And if that wasn’t enough celebration, don’t forget that the following weekend, June 8 and 9, sees the Flower Festival at St Mary and St Peter, Pett.

While details of the June film will appear in next week’s Village Voice, in July Flicks in the Village will be showing Quartet, a film starring Maggie Smith, Tom Courtenay, Pauline Collins and Billy Connolly. As well as the usual evening performance on Thursday July 4, there will also be a matinee performance, starting at 2:30pm in Pett Village Hall. Further details will appear nearer the time.
