First place went to last year's South East area champion George Crate (13) on Coveham Generation.

The Marshall siblings from Brightling, who all attend Claremont School on St Leonards and follow the East Sussex and Romney Marsh Hunt, were then left vying for the minor placings. Izzie Marshall (10) on Little Tinker ran on strongly to get second place in front of her brothers Charlie Marshall (12) on Barndales Playtime and Alfie Marshall (9) on Rio.
