Police Commissioner to address annual town meeting

The Town Meeting is not a formal meeting of the Town Council but is called by the Mayor of the Town, and is organised and held by the Town Council on behalf of residents.

It is an opportunity to inform residents about achievements in the preceding year, its aims for the future and for residents to raise issues with the Town Council.

This year there will also be the opportunity to ask questions of Mrs Bourne, a former Mid Sussex District Councillor and resident of Ansty.

Usually held on the last Monday in April, the 2014 event starts at 7.30pm on Monday April 28.

Mayor cllr Sandy Ellis extended an invitation to all residents before adding: “I am delighted that Mrs Katy Bourne has taken time out of her busy schedule to come and talk to us.

“I do hope to see you at the meeting to hear you views and opinions on our wonderful Town and the Town Council.”
