Police donate toMary’s memorial
Rye Police have donated £500 to the family of Mary Shipstone, for ‘Mary’s Fund’, named after Northiam youngster Mary who so tragically died in September 2014.
The fund enables children living in difficult circumstances to receive support from The Music Well’s therapy service.
The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund, made up of monies received by the police from property confiscated by order of the court and then sold.

Hide AdPolice Community Support Officer, Becky Unicombe said: “We are pleased to be able to help. I am sure our donation will go some way to helping others.”
Becky added : “The Music Well, welcomes all age groups and can also arrange home visits for music therapy and musical activity for those who are housebound due to illness. It is a wonderful way to remember such a special little girl.”
