Crowhurst currently is isolated from community internet access. As a result the committee are trying to raise funds to gain the necessary service and equipment.

With increased internet access, residents, the scouts, Brownies, school, pre school, parish council, community market, Women’s Institute, doctors surgery and the wider community will be able to benefit.

Police Community Support Officer Daryl Holter said: “Internet access in the village is very limited so for the Community to have access would be a great benefit.”

The money comes from the Police Property Act Fund which diverts confidscated proceeds of crime to deserving community projects.
