Salsa for starters

You're in luck, because a beginners' course is to be held at the Manor Barn for five weeks from Thursday February 7, from 7.30-8.30pm.

Teacher Leanne Hodgson decided to set the sessions up in response to interest from Bexhill beginners, having run popular classes at the Manor Barn in the past before finding a new home at Harley's in St Leonards.

She said: "You don't need a partner, everybody is welcome - all ages.

"With all the interest on TV and Strictly Come Dancing, everyone wants to do it, which is why we have put on an extra course in Bexhill.

"Salsa is brilliant fun - it is fantastic exercise and all ages can do it. We get people who bring their sons or daughters, who are 15 and 16, and from another family we have a daughter, mother and grandmother who all come. Salsa is really for all ages - everyone enjoys it."
