On Sunday September 9, children, adults and dogs turned out in their droves to take part in the five mile cross country circuit which took participants from the recreation ground, through the village and around the reservoir.

Proceeds of the race will go to charities that will be announced by the organisers.

Final figures are still being processed, but early indications are that £950-£1150 was raised from the Adult fun run.
