Smoke-free advice for businesses

BUSINESSES are being supported in their preparations to go smoke-free.

Seminars are being held before the nationwide ban on smoking public places comes into force on July 1.

The ban will affect virtually all enclosed public places, public vehicles and work vehicles.

The seminars are designed to tell businesses about the new law and how managers can support staff and customers who wish to give up smoking.

Two-hour seminars have been held at Hailsham and Crowborough with another planned for Wednesday (May 16) at the Civic Centre, Uckfield (10am to noon).

If you are interested in attending a seminar please email your details and preferred seminar to [email protected] or telephone 01323 443302.
