Sparkle for charity

ATHE Fingerneissl family of Isfield brought Christmas cheer to their village with a spectacular display of decorative lights around their house winning the Sussex Express decorations competition in the process.

There was a purpose to their show as well. Passers-by were invited to make a donation in a collection box outside the brightly-lit house. And when the proceeds were added up on Monday, they amounted to 567. The sum was presented to the Headway charity which is linked to Hurstwood Park Hospital at Haywards Heath and supports those who have suffered serious head injuries.
