Spot Bradley the Bear and win £100

"WE want our missing 25 Bradleys returned and YOU can help us."

That is the message this week as Bexhill Promotions Group finalises plans for next week's Christmas Festival.

Bradley the Bear is the symbol of the Making Bexhill Better campaign. Brian Storkey and Sue Spice said: "They have done it again - just like they did last Christmas. Twenty five Bradley Bears have escaped from our office and taken up residence in shop and office windows in Bexhill town centre!

"To help us find our missing bears we are holding a competition. Find all the 25 bears and you could win 100."

Two runners-up will receive 10. All winners will also receive a Bradley, smartly clad in his blue Making Bexhill Better jumper.

The competition starts on Monday and finishes after next Saturday's Christmas Festival.

Remaining Bradleys have reportedly "confessed" to knowing where their colleagues have hidden. Six are believed to have in Devonshire Road, five in Western Road, five in St Leonards Road, five in Sackville Road, two in Town Hall Square and two in Sea Road.

Details of the competition can also be found on the back of Christmas Festival leaflets, available in town centre shops and cafes and the tourist information centre.

Entrants should make a list of the 25 locations where they have spotted Bradleys and send their list together with their contact details by January 2 to Bexhill Promotions Group, 140 Barnhorn Road.
