Still time to have sayin drinking debate

THERE is still time to take part in the East Sussex Drinking Debate.

It was launched by East Sussex Safer Communities Partnership in April and has already attracted hundreds of responses.

There are just two weeks left for people to give their views on the way alcohol-related problems are dealt with in the future.

People are being asked how alcohol features in the lives of individuals, families and communities in the county and their feedback will be used by the East Sussex Drug and Alcohol Action Team in drafting the East Sussex Alcohol Harm Reduction Strategy.

“We have been very pleased with the response so far, but are keen to get the views of as many people as possible,” said council leader Cllr Keith Glazier. “Feedback will help us understand how best to address alcohol-related issues in the future.” The online survey can be found at www.eastsussex.gov.uk/drinkdebate.
