Store blocks wine sale over daughter

AN ANGRY Storrington mother has vowed to shop elsewhere after a store refused to sell her a bottle of wine because her 17-year-old daughter was helping her.

Toni Bradshaw, of Windmill Copse, had gone to her local Tesco Express with daughter Frankie.

"She was helping me with the shopping. I picked up a bottle of wine and took it with my shopping to the checkout but I was astonished to be told they could not sell me the wine because I had a teenager with me," said Ms Bradshaw.

"I have shopped there many times because it is the closest to me and also cheaper than the other supermarket in the village. This was the first time I had been refused."
