Store to close after 40 years in Rustington

Greenwood Airvac, in Brookside Avenue, will be closing next year, moving to a new centre in Camberley, Surrey.

The manufacturers, which constructs state-of-the-art air ventilation systems, said none of its 32 jobs would be in jeopardy, with a company source explaining that all roles would be available at its new Surrey HQ.

A spokeswoman added that Greenwood had ‘employed many local people within its 40 years of being based’ in Rustington and that it was ‘sad to leave the village’.

A consultation process for staff about the move will conclude early next year.
