A collision has taken place on the A22 near Eastbourne this morning (Monday, July 17), according to reports.

The AA on its traffic alert said the incident was first reported at around 6.15am today.

It said: “(There are) reports of (a) crash on A22 Highfield Link both ways from A2280 Cross Levels Way (Lottbridge Roundabout) to B2191 Willingdon Drove (Shinewater roundabout). Traffic is coping well. A vehicle has reported to have driven into a barrier.”
