In Worthing, ‘severe delays’ have been reported on Crockhurst Hill eastbound between A27 Arundel Road and A27 Upper Brighton Road.

On the railway line, a signalling fault was reported between Haywards Heath and Brighton in the early hours of the morning.

Southern Reported reported around 5am that the line towards Brighton is disrupted ‘due to a fault with the signalling system’, adding: “You can use your route as normal, but please allow extra time when travelling. Train services running to and from these stations may be delayed by up to 10 minutes. Please check journey planners prior to travelling, or station boards for the most up to date information.”
