Work to take place on Eastbourne town centre road for five days

There will be ‘some carriageway incursion’ and a two-way signal in Hartington Place from September 4-8, according to South East Water.

A company spokesperson added: “We're currently working to install a new water meter. Thanks for bearing with us, and we're really sorry for any inconvenience caused.”

Earlier in the week some Eastbourne residents were left without water due to a burst pipe.
