HAYWARDS HEATH MOVIE MAKERS: present an evening of films on Tuesday 2 October at 7.30 pm in the Parish Room. Formed in 1949, Haywards Heath MovieMakers is one of the foremost non-professional filmmaking clubs in the South of England. We have an active membership from novices to more experienced movie makers with many awards being won nationally and internationally, not only by the club, but also by individual members.
The varied programme will include films of local interest and footage of early Balcombe from the Screen Archive South East. There will also be fiction, documentary and comedy films from our library of award winners. The star of the show will be “The Prodigal” which was shot in St. Mary’s Church earlier this year for a competition with the theme “Elephant in the Room”. The film features two Balcombe residents and of course the Church. There will be a retiring collection in aid of St. Mary’s in lieu of entry charge. To reserve a space/for catering purposes please contact Douglas on 811349 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
