Vinehall celebrates the Best of British

The children of Vinehall Nursery and Pre-Prep enjoyed a special Arts Festival recently.

The children were involved in a broad range of activities on a British theme which helped to enrich the children’s learning.

Workshops ranged from Scottish dancing, building sandcastles, baking scones, looking at British motoring design and iconic features from around the UK.

The children also enjoyed a number of role play and dramatic experiences inspired by Great British heroes such as Nelson, 1066, traditional nursery rhymes and St George and the Dragon.

The week ended with a barn dance to Irish folk band, Feed the Pony and a cheerleading demonstration from Year 2 children.

This is a particularly exciting term for children at the Robertsbridge school, with outings, concerts and sporting events planned.
