Melissa Briggs (CARLEX) – 235

Douglas Denny (UK Independence Party) – 3,036

Nick Gibb (Conservative) – 24,087

Michael Jones (Labour) – 6,580

Simon McDougall (Liberal Democrat) – 11,024

Andrew Moffat (British National Party) – 1,890

Turnout 66.2 per cent, up on 2005.

George O'Neill (Labour_ – 10,361 25.4 per cent

Simon McDougall (Liberal Democrat) – 8,927 21.9 per cent
