Westfield Cricket Club: is holding a Quiz Evening at ‘The Plough’ at 7pm on Sunday, March 13. Everyone is welcome, and admission is £5, including light buffet.

Regrettably, there are some complaints to pass on.: We have been asked to request that drivers of cars and vans do not drive over the verges. Along the main road in particular the verges have been churned up and destroyed, and the footpath covered in mud in wet weather, making it particularly difficult for older residents, and mothers with toddlers or buggies to pass. Drivers are also reminded that it is illegal to park on the footway, as seems to be happening rather too often.

The Westfield Village website: www.westfieldvillage.co.uk has all sorts of information about village organisations, events, Westfield Community Association and the Parish Council. This is your website, set up to serve the village community, and your contributions, news and views are needed.

We are still looking: for someone to be our new Village Voice correspondent. Please contact [email protected] for more information. Until a replacement is found please send Village Voice contributions to the same address.
