GOOD COMPANIONS: Although it was very cold & frosty when we left home to travel to Battle; in fact the frost was so white it looked like snow, the sun did come out and we had blue skies.. Members of The Good Companions enjoyed a meal at The Royal Oak, Whatlington where Marie served a delicious two course meal followed by tea & coffee which certainly warmed everyone up before going home and out into the bitterly cold weather.
