Worthing's Question Time

A MEETING in the style of TV programme Question Time will allow the people of Worthing to grill a panel about issues in the town.

The public meeting has been organised by Worthing Citizens Advice Bureau and will take place on Tuesday, April 17, at the library lecture theatre in Richmond Road.

The evening, which starts at 7.30pm, will involve a panel of local personalities answering questions from the audience without prior notice.

Chaired by John Radford from Splash FM, the panel will include Tim Loughton, MP for Worthing and East Shoreham; John Turley, East Worthing Labour party treasurer; Liberal Dem councillor Sheila Player; Conservative councillor Nick John; Julia Carette from the Council of Voluntary Service; and Roy Stannard, from Worthing Chamber of Commerce.

Admission for the event is free and will work on a first-come, first-served basis.

On arrival, the audience will be invited to submit questions for consideration to the organisers.
