Yobs have closed us down but we'll be back

The Findon Village Pre-School was targeted twice in two days by vandals who smashed all of its windows causing an estimated 1,000 of damage.

The team of pre-school staff spent Tuesday trying to clean up the shards of glass and salvage some of the toys covered in the sharp remains.

The building, which is behind the village hall in the High Street and is also used as a youth club, has now been boarded up until it is safe enough for the children to return.

Manager Kim Fessey said: "I was sickened when I was called to say what had happened. This is a real community playgroup that the parents have helped to build up. The kids love it here so it was no surprise they were so devastated.

"Words fail me as to why they have done this. They are just mindless thugs who don't think about the consequences.
