Young Arts Ambassadors sought

THE DE LA WARR Pavilion is offering youngsters the opportunity to become Arts Ambassadors.

Following the success of Access All Areas 2009 (The East Sussex Youth Arts Festival) Festival Coordinator Susan Eskdale said the chance to be an Arts Ambassador will offer experience and opportunities in the Arts, meet other young people with a passion for the Arts, input into the most prestigious Arts centre around, and will look great on a CV.

Susan said: "Access All Areas 2009 was a huge success and thank you to all of you who made it such a brilliant event, it was great to have so many people return and also to welcome lots of groups, artists and young people for the first time.

"It is very important to the Festival that we continue to work throughout the year to strengthen and evolve relationships and to ensure that Access All Areas listens to young people.

"We had a great group of young people who worked with us as the Production Team and we want to offer this opportunity to more young people."

She added: "The De La Warr Pavilion offer the opportunity for young people to become Arts Ambassadors, the next meeting is Thursday 21 January 5pm '“ 6.30pm.

"Young people can get more involved with the DLWP as well as being involved in organising Access All Areas. There is the opportunity to do both or either."
