Bibb gives Blues a winning start
RUSTINGTON FC manager Gareth Davies was delighted with his side's opening day victory at Haywards Heath on Saturday.
He said: "It wasn't the best of performances but it sent out a strong message to other teams that we won't be bullied out of games.
"Brett Neal and Russ Tomlinson were immense and didn't give Haywards Heath a sniff. With Dave Oakes and Rob Butcher alongside them, they gave one of the most solid defensive performances I've seen for a long time.
"The first three points is always important and it gives us as great stepping stone to build our season from."
