Child's play for bowls champ
Child clinched a 21-15 win on her home surface in the final against Lorraine Hume of Saffrons BC.
Hume did have something to celebrate as she teamed up with Saffrons club-mate Joan Wells to defeat Bexhill Women's duo Jean Norman and Aileen McNair 27-17 in the ladies pairs.

Hide AdBexhill were also represented in the mixed pairs but once again it was the visiting duo in the form of Henry and Irene Plant of Pembury who came out on top.
Fred Hobbs and Margaret Turner battled hard and the title was still up for grabs going into the 15th end but a three followed by a two put the Pembury duo on the road to a 23-14 victory.
