Birchwood Grove youngplayers turn the tableson their older opponents

Birchwood Grove Primary School girls cricket team took on Ratton in the semi finals of the U13 Lady Taverners Schools Tournament. Birchwood scored 99-3 and then restricted Ratton to 57-8 thanks to figures of 5-13 for Lauren Wickens. Birchwood will now face either Oathall or Worthing High in the final. They were one of only two primary schools entered in the competition out of 16 schools and to make it as far as they have is a fantastic achievement. Along the way they have beaten four secondary schools.
