VIDEO: Italy win top of table T20 clash with Guernsey at Horsham

Favourites Italy beat Guernsey to make it a perfect four wins from four and book their place in Saturday’s Finals Day at Hove.

Thursday morning’s T20 clash at Horsham brought together the only two remaining unbeaten sides in Group A of the ICC Europe competition taking place in the town this week.

Batting first, group leaders Italy were bowled out in the final over for a strong 162 total, largely thanks to P Petricola’s 69 runs from 30 balls. Left Arm spinner Ellis impressed with four wickets.

Guernsey’s reply started well but once start performers J Frith and I Damarell were out they always looked off the pace and closed on 133-8 from their 20 overs.
